List of Birds of New Jersey - Tyrant Flycatchers

Tyrant Flycatchers

Order: Passeriformes. Family: Tyrannidae

Tyrant flycatchers are Passerine birds which occur throughout North and South America. They superficially resemble the Old World flycatchers, but are more robust with stronger bills.
