The Clans
Characters who are primarily associated with the Clans. Clan naming conventions differ from the more traditional of ones of the Inner Sphere; a Clansman is given only one name at the beginning of his or her life. No surnames are given; they must be earned through combat, later in life. They must be sponsored by a commanding officer in order to compete for a "bloodname," which surnames are called (This article therefore orders them by first name instead of last name.)
