Academy Award
The Academy Award, also known as the "Oscar", is an award presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) at an annual ceremony, in recognition of people in the film industry. Eminem won the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 75th Academy Awards, for his single "Lose Yourself" from the soundtrack of 8 Mile. Thus he became the first hip hop artist ever to win an Academy Award. He was not present at the ceremony, but musician Luis Resto accepted the award.
