On 27 February 2009 it was reported that St Clair had been rescued from her car and flown to hospital after the vehicle left a remote Herefordshire road near Risbury and landed upside down in a stream, trapping her for up to 24 hours. Famous quotes containing the words religious and/or conversion:
“Better risk loss of truth than chance of errorthat is your faith-vetoers exact position. He is actively playing his stake as much as the believer is; he is backing the field against the religious hypothesis, just as the believer is backing the religious hypothesis against the field.”
—William James (18421910)
“The conversion of a savage to Christianity is the conversion of Christianity to savagery.”
—George Bernard Shaw (18561950)
