Regional Liberal Parties
Each province and one territory in Canada has its own Liberal Party. The provincial parties have separate finances, memberships, constituency associations, executives, conventions and offices.

Famous quotes containing the words liberal and/or parties:
“The power of consumer goods ... has been engendered by the so-called liberal and progressive demands of freedom, and, by appropriating them, has emptied them of their meaning, and changed their nature.”
—Pier Paolo Pasolini (1922–1975)
“This will not be disloyalty but will show that as members of a party they are loyal first to the fine things for which the party stands and when it rejects those things or forgets the legitimate objects for which parties exist, then as a party it cannot command the honest loyalty of its members.”
—Eleanor Roosevelt (1884–1962)
