Levski Sofia (sports Club)

Levski Sofia is a sports club from Sofia, Bulgaria, founded in 1914. The club is named after Vasil Levski, the national hero of Bulgaria. Its football team, PFC Levski Sofia, is its most popular sports branch. Other important branches are BC Levski Sofia, the basketball team, and VC Levski Sofia, the volleyball team. The club develops 40 types of sport.

Levski Sofia is the only Bulgarian club which has won the European Champions' Cup in two different team sports – basketball and volleyball. To date, the club has reached 15 European club Finals and has won four titles – one EuroLeague, one CEV Champions League, and two EuroCup titles – also has played in four CEV Champions League Finals, six CEV Cup Winners' Cup Finals and one EuroCup Final.

The athletes of sport club Levski have won almost 1,000 medals from Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships.
