Famous quotes containing the words lee, tom and/or perry:

When that kid looks into your eyes and you know it’s yours, you know what it means to be alive.
—Anonymous Father. Quoted in When Men are Pregnant, by Jerrold Lee Shapiro, ch. 15 (1987)

And the Angel told Tom if he’d be a good boy,
He’d have God for his father & never want joy.

And so Tom awoke and we rose in the dark
And got with our bags & our brushes to work.
Tho’ the morning was cold, Tom was happy & warm,
So if all do their duty, they need not fear harm.
    William Blake (1757–1827)

As Ah Ling would say, “Even though the eyes may see, the mind will not believe.”
