Last Time Around - History

History

Last Time Around was released to fulfill contractual commitments. By the time it was completed the group had functionally disbanded: nowhere do all members appear together on any track, and even the cover photo of the group is a montage. Bruce Palmer appeared on six tracks: 'On the Way Home,' 'It's So Hard to Wait,' 'Pretty Girl Why,' 'Uno Mundo,' 'Merry-Go-Round,' and 'Questions'. His face and name were both omitted from the album sleeve.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

Boys forget what their country means by just reading “the land of the free” in history books. Then they get to be men, they forget even more. Liberty’s too precious a thing to be buried in books.
    Sidney Buchman (1902–1975)

This above all makes history useful and desirable: it unfolds before our eyes a glorious record of exemplary actions.
    Titus Livius (Livy)

It is true that this man was nothing but an elemental force in motion, directed and rendered more effective by extreme cunning and by a relentless tactical clairvoyance .... Hitler was history in its purest form.
    Albert Camus (1913–1960)
