Rights Issues and Availability
Dogmen is one of the few Carolco productions whose rights have been retained by its original distributor (in this case, Savoy Pictures). HBO released the film on DVD, which has been discontinued. As of March 2010, neither HBO nor Focus Features, the latter of which has begun to acquire some of Savoy's films, has announced any plans to release a new DVD of the film. For these reasons, used copies of the original DVD have gone for as much as $45 online. The film is currently available for online streaming for Netflix subscribers.

Famous quotes containing the words rights, issues and/or availability:
“It seemed like this was one big Prozac nation, one big mess of malaise. Perhaps the next time half a million people gather for a protest march on the White House green it will not be for abortion rights or gay liberation, but because were all so bummed out.”
—Elizabeth Wurtzel, U.S. author. Prozac Nation: Young and Depressed in America, p. 298, Houghton Mifflin (1994)
“The universal moments of child rearing are in fact nothing less than a confrontation with the most basic problems of living in society: a facing through ones children of all the conflicts inherent in human relationships, a clarification of issues that were unresolved in ones own growing up. The experience of child rearing not only can strengthen one as an individual but also presents the opportunity to shape human relationships of the future.”
—Elaine Heffner (20th century)
“Since ... six weeks ago, there has been no day in which I have not had letters and visits on the subject of my nomination for the Presidency.... I say very little. I have in no instance encouraged any one to work to that end.... I have said the whole talk about me is on the score of availability. Let availability do the work then.”
—Rutherford Birchard Hayes (18221893)
