  • Laotian-American Badminton star Khan Malaythong, athlete. He portrayed a Chinese badminton player in a Vitamin Water commercial starring David Ortiz and Brian Urlacher and played in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.
  • Kahn Souphanousinphone, a character from King of the Hill, along with his family are famous for being the only cartoons who are Laotian-descent.
