At the 2011 State Football Championship on December 10, the Lakers defeated Sheldon and brought home Lake Oswego's first state win, 47-14. Ranked 14th in nation.
The Laker Football team won the 6A division state championship in 2011 and was ranked second in the state for 2012. The Lake Oswego Cheer Squad won state in 2008, bringing home LO's first state cheer championship. They also were ranked second in the nation at USA nationals that year.
The Lake Oswego Dance Team won state in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2011, and 2012, has won regionals, and came 8th at nationals in 2007.
