Marriage and Children
She was styled The Lady Helen Windsor until her marriage, on 18 July 1992, to Timothy Verner Taylor (b. 8 August 1963), an art dealer and the eldest son of Commander Michael Verner Taylor, RN and Susan G. Percy. They married at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. The bride wore a Catherine Walker design inspired by the architecture of the wedding venue.
She is the only one of the Duke of Kent's children that remains in the line of succession to the British throne given that both of her brothers married Roman Catholics.
Lady Helen is now styled The Lady Helen Taylor. She and her husband have four children, who immediately follow Lady Helen in the line of succession:
- Master Columbus George Donald Taylor (born 6 August 1994)
- Master Cassius Edward Taylor (born 26 December 1996)
- Miss Eloise Olivia Katherine Taylor (born 2 March 2003)
- Miss Estella Olga Elizabeth Taylor (born 21 December 2004)

Famous quotes containing the words marriage and, marriage and/or children:
“I have yet to hear a man ask for advice on how to combine marriage and a career.”
—Gloria Steinem (b. 1934)
“Every relationship that does not raise us up pulls us down, and vice versa; this is why men usually sink down somewhat when they take wives while women are usually somewhat raised up. Overly spiritual men require marriage every bit as much as they resist it as bitter medicine.”
—Friedrich Nietzsche (18441900)
“I concluded that I was skilled, however poorly, at only one thing: marriage. And so I set about the business of selling myself and two children to some unsuspecting man who might think me a desirable second-hand mate, a man of good means and disposition willing to support another mans children in some semblance of the style to which they were accustomed. My heart was not in the chase, but I was tired and there was no alternative. I could not afford freedom.”
—Barbara Howar (b. 1934)
