Lady Georgia Byng

Lady Georgia Byng (born 1965) is a British author of children's books. She went to The Central School of Speech and Drama but gave up acting to write. Her first writing was in comic strips. Byng illustrated too. Her first published book was a comic strip story - The Sock Monsters. Byng's best known work is Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism, about a girl who finds a book about hypnotism and learns how to hypnotise people. In later books, Molly Moon learns to use other powers; including time stopping, time travel, mind reading, and morphing. (There is going to be a sixth book coming out in 2013, in which Molly Moon gets the talent of playing any instrument, becoming grumpy at the same time)
