Kurashiki City College

Kurashiki City College (倉敷市立短期大学, Kurashiki-Shiritsu Tanki daigaku?) is a public junior college in Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan, established in 1974. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1968.

Famous quotes containing the words city and/or college:

    Nor is there singing school but studying
    Monuments of its own magnificence;
    And therefore I have sailed the seas and come
    To the holy city of Byzantium.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)

    The mode of founding a college is, commonly, to get up a subscription of dollars and cents, and then, following blindly the principles of a division of labor to its extreme,—a principle which should never be followed but with circumspection,—to call in a contractor who makes this a subject of speculation,... and for these oversights successive generations have to pay.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
