Credit Rating
S&P Rating “A” (Nov.26, 2010) As of the end of December 2010, KT received an “A” rating from the global credit rating agency S&P. S&P’s “A” rating is given to companies evaluated as being of “Investment Grade” status, and applies to the 6 highest levels among the 23 rating categories at S&P. KT's A rating was cut from "stable" to "negative" in June 2012 due to competition from "free mobile voice-over-Internet protocol (mVoIP) services such as Kakao Talk's voice talk service." This "could potentially threaten KT Corp.'s wireless and fixed-line voice revenues."

Famous quotes containing the word credit:
“The world is a puzzling place today. All these banks sending us credit cards, with our names on them. Well, we didnt order any credit cards! We dont spend what we dont have. So we just cut them in half and throw them out, just as soon as we open them in the mail. Imagine a bank sending credit cards to two ladies over a hundred years old! What are those folks thinking?”
—Sarah Louise Delany (b. 1889)
