History
Until 2005, this was "1340 The Zone" and was the only all-sports station in the "Ark-La-Tex." Today, the nearest such outlet is KRRP in Coushatta, about 60 miles south of Shreveport. KRRP has a signal powerful enough to reach Shreveport during the day, but is essentially impossible to receive there at night.
On December 17, 2012 KRMD changed their format to sports, branded as "Sports Talk 100.7". using the frequency of its FM translator (K264AS) in its branding.

Famous quotes containing the word history:
“At present cats have more purchasing power and influence than the poor of this planet. Accidents of geography and colonial history should no longer determine who gets the fish.”
—Derek Wall (b. 1965)
“The history of any nation follows an undulatory course. In the trough of the wave we find more or less complete anarchy; but the crest is not more or less complete Utopia, but only, at best, a tolerably humane, partially free and fairly just society that invariably carries within itself the seeds of its own decadence.”
—Aldous Huxley (18941963)
“We know only a single science, the science of history. One can look at history from two sides and divide it into the history of nature and the history of men. However, the two sides are not to be divided off; as long as men exist the history of nature and the history of men are mutually conditioned.”
—Karl Marx (18181883)
