Konica Hexar - Camera Body

Camera Body

The Hexar is similar in form to a Leica M mount camera with equivalent lens and handgrip fitted. Construction is of cast-aluminium, finished in flat black or silver (later model), with a raised plastic hand-grip. Controls are an aperture control dial with central shutter release button, power/mode selection switch and a series of six multi-function buttons located on the top right-hand side of the camera (when seen from the rear), along with a multi-function LCD display.

Famous quotes containing the words camera and/or body:

The camera can represent flesh so superbly that, if I dared, I would never photograph a figure without asking that figure to take its clothes off.
    George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)

    Though I knit my brow,
    my gaze is fixed
    longingly
    anyway.
    Though I check my tongue,
    this tortured face of mine
    dissolves in a smile.
Though I drive my heart to hardness,
    my body bears
    the gooseflesh
    of desire.
    When I see that man,
    how on earth
    can my anger
    survive?
    Amaru (c. seventh century A.D.)
