Kon Dynasty
The kon dynasty ruled Gingee from 1190 AD to 1350 AD. Gingee gained its regional autonomy and identity under the Kon kings. Ananta Kon laid the foundations for the Kon dynasty and laid the initial foundations for the Gingee fort. The dynasty came to an end by raids from the Deccan Kings.,
