Famous quotes containing the words national, park and/or reserve:

Let him [the President] once win the admiration and confidence of the country, and no other single force can withstand him, no combination of forces will easily overpower him.... Woodrow Wilson (1856–1924)

Borrow a child and get on welfare.
Borrow a child and stay in the house all day with the child,
or go to the public park with the child, and take the child
to the welfare office and cry and say your man left you and
be humble and wear your dress and your smile, and don’t talk
    back ...
    Susan Griffin (b. 1943)

We must reserve a back shop all our own, entirely free, in which to establish our real liberty and our principal retreat and solitude.
