Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil, known in Japan as Kaze no Klonoa 2 Sekai ga Nozonda Wasuremono (風のクロノア2 世界が望んだ忘れもの?, lit. "Klonoa of the Wind 2: Thing That The World Wants to Forget"). is a PlayStation 2 platform video game by Namco released in 2001. It is the direct sequel to 1997's Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. Furthermore, it was planned for Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil to be ported to the Nintendo GameCube.; but, the port was cancelled for unknown reasons. Announced by Klonoa executive producer and director Hideo Yoshizawa, there is a possibility that a Wii adaptation of the game could be made if the Wii remake of its 1997 predecessor was well received.
The game puts players in the role of Klonoa, who, along with a new cast of friends, has stumbled into another adventure, this time to save the world of Lunatea and help unveil the mysteries of the enchanted world. The game features gameplay inspired by the original Klonoa with 2D side-scrolling in a 3D-rendered environment. Klonoa's equipped weapon is a crystal ring which contains the life of Lolo inside helping him.

Famous quotes containing the word veil:
“She, as a veil down to the slender waist,
Her unadorned golden tresses wore
Dishevelled, but in wanton ringlets waved
As the vine curls her tendrils, which implied
Subjection, but required with gentle sway,
And by her yielded, by him best received,
Yielded with coy submission, modest pride,
And sweet, reluctant, amorous delay.
Nor those mysterious parts were then concealed:
Then was not guilty shame: dishonest Shame
Of Natures works, Honour dishonourable.”
