Klaus Allofs

Klaus Allofs (born 5 December 1956) is a retired German footballer who played as a striker. He is currently sporting director at Wolfsburg.

A prolific goalscorer for club and country, his younger brother, Thomas, was also a professional footballer – and a striker. He amassed Bundesliga totals of 424 games and 177 goals over the course of 15 seasons (being crowned the competition's top scorer on two occasions), mainly representing Fortuna Düsseldorf and Köln.

Allofs gained nearly 60 caps for West Germany, representing the nation in one World Cup and two European Championships, winning the Euro 1980 tournament.
