• Wooden belfry in Tuřany. Unlike other areas of the Czech Republic many wooden bell towers survived into present time in Kladno District.

• Lesser Periwinkle covers remains of medieval village of Svídna in a forest near Drnek. The settlement, deserted in early 16th century, belongs to prominent sites of Central-European medieval archaeology.
