The Kittatinny Regional High School is a six-year comprehensive regional public high school and school district in Sussex County, New Jersey, serving students in grades 7 - 12 from five municipalities in the northwest area of the county. The high school is located in Hampton Township, about seven minutes outside of the County seat of Newton. The high school serves students who reside in Fredon Township, Hampton Township, Sandyston Township, Stillwater Township and Walpack Township.
As of the 2010-11 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,145 students and 84.7 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.52:1. There were 31 students (2.7% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 26 (2.3% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.
The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.
