Kiss: Psycho Circus was easily one of the most popular Kiss comic books. It was spun off the Kiss album Psycho Circus, but is much more closely related to Music from "The Elder" however, they both play big roles in the comic's creation. Music from "the Elder" has a song titled "Mr. Blackwell," a reference to Jonathan Blackwell. The comic book spawned the first-person shooter video game Kiss: Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child, which featured many characters from the comic book. It was released on the PC and later ported to the Dreamcast. It was very popular among Kiss fans but critically it sits with an average score of 71% for the PC version and 52% on the Dreamcast according to GameRankings.

The Psycho Circus album (first release by original line up in many years) was based very loosely on the concept of the Psycho Circus comic book (Image).

Famous quotes containing the word related:

So universal and widely related is any transcendent moral greatness, and so nearly identical with greatness everywhere and in every age,—as a pyramid contracts the nearer you approach its apex,—that, when I look over my commonplace-book of poetry, I find that the best of it is oftenest applicable, in part or wholly, to the case of Captain Brown.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

In the middle years of childhood, it is more important to keep alive and glowing the interest in finding out and to support this interest with skills and techniques related to the process of finding out than to specify any particular piece of subject matter as inviolate.
    Dorothy H. Cohen (20th century)

One does not realize the historical sensation as a re-experiencing, but as an understanding that is closely related to the understanding of music, or rather of the world by means of music.
    Johan Huizinga (1872–1945)
