Boundaries
This constituency covers the northern part of Hull. A diverse constituency, it includes the large social housing estates of Bransholme, North Hull and Orchard Park, as well as some of the city's most desirable housing areas in the Avenues, Newland Park and Beverley High Road areas. A seat with a large student population, Hull North has the University at its centre, and many students live in the Newland Avenue and Beverley Road communities. A large new housing development in the north of the seat called Kingswood is also rapidly changing the constituency's demographic profile.
Kingston upon Hull North includes the Hull City Council wards of Avenue, Beverley, Bransholme East, Bransholme West, Bricknell, Kings Park, Newland, Orchard Park and Greenwood, and University.

Famous quotes containing the word boundaries:
“Not too many years ago, a childs experience was limited by how far he or she could ride a bicycle or by the physical boundaries that parents set. Today ... the real boundaries of a childs life are set more by the number of available cable channels and videotapes, by the simulated reality of videogames, by the number of megabytes of memory in the home computer. Now kids can go anywhere, as long as they stay inside the electronic bubble.”
—Richard Louv (20th century)
“We must be generously willing to leave for a time the narrow boundaries in which our individual lives are passed ... In this fresh, breezy atmosphere ... we will be surprised to find that many of our familiar old conventional truths look very queer indeed in some of the sudden side lights thrown upon them.”
—Bertha Honore Potter Palmer (18491918)
“Whereas the Greeks gave to will the boundaries of reason, we have come to put the wills impulse in the very center of reason, which has, as a result, become deadly.”
—Albert Camus (19131960)
