Version Differences
The diskette (EGA and VGA) and NES versions require Graham to cast spells throughout the game, requiring the user to refer to the manual as a form of copy protection. This was omitted in the CD-ROM version. The CD version also added voice acting. The disk version has a slightly different game interface. There is also some script differences in parts, like, for example, Cedric (or Graham if he doesn't save him from the harpies) getting killed by Mordack's wand magic in the PC CD-ROM adaptation instead of being turned to stone in all other versions, or Mordack simply leaving Graham's family to rot in said CD-ROM adaptation instead of threatening to feed them to Manannan.

Famous quotes containing the words version and/or differences:
“I should think that an ordinary copy of the King James version would have been good enough for those Congressmen.”
—Calvin Coolidge (18721933)
“Toddlerhood resembles adolescence because of the rapidity of physical growth and because of the impulse to break loose of parental boundaries. At both ages, the struggle for independence exists hand in hand with the often hidden wish to be contained and protected while striving to move forward in the world. How parents and toddlers negotiate their differences sets the stage for their ability to remain partners during childhood and through the rebellions of the teenage years.”
—Alicia F. Lieberman (20th century)
