Kings Plaza - Reputation

Reputation

In its opening years, Kings Plaza was regarded as Brooklyn's mall of choice. For the 1970s and 1980s, Kings Plaza was considered to be an ideal family place with a carousel for children as well as offering many name brand stores. The mall's reputation swiftly declined in the 1990s and has been noted by many customers as the worst mall in Brooklyn. Over the years, although massive renovations have taken place to improve the mall, patrons still criticize the selection of stores offered, the "unfriendly" employees, maintenance, and the surrounding area that has been becoming more dangerous over the years. Another common complaint is the removal of the bookstore and the parking fee.

Famous quotes containing the word reputation:

I see my reputation is at stake,
    My fame is shrewdly gored.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

The cultivation of literary pursuits forms the basis of all sciences, and in their perfection consist the reputation and prosperity of kingdoms.
    Marquês De Pombal (1699–1782)

From the moment a child begins to speak, he is taught to respect the word; he is taught how to use the word and how not to use it. The word is all-powerful, because it can build a man up, but it can also tear him down. That’s how powerful it is. So a child is taught to use words tenderly and never against anyone; a child is told never to take anyone’s name or reputation in vain.
    Henry Old Coyote (20th century)
