King Louie Bankston (born Louis Paul Bankston ) is a prolific garage punk musician from Harahan, Louisiana. He is best known for his work in The Royal Pendletons, The Persuaders, The Exploding Hearts, and The King Louie One Man Band. A decorated elder statesman in the world of underground rock 'n' roll, he is currently working on a new album and has plans for a feature length film documentary tentatively titled 'Rolling Rock' with director Art Boonparn and writer Vincent S Baeza about his role in the underbelly of music in the past 20 years.
