King Games

King Games was a series of three video games (advergames) sold at Burger King. The games were available as part of a promotion during the holiday season from late November until December 24, 2006.

All three games were developed by Blitz Games (the Blitz Arcade Division), and were published by Burger King. They advertise Burger King in-game. The games were compatible with both the original Xbox and the Xbox 360, and feature online play through Xbox Live. The games were originally created as downloadable games for Xbox Live Arcade but were considered to be of such high quality they were instead moved to 'box product' and distributed directly at Burger King stores. Recently, it was revealed that future game(s) will be released for the Xbox 360 to advertise the Xbox 360's Kinect. The gameplay to the upcoming game(s) to the King Games series has yet to be announced

Famous quotes containing the words king and/or games:

I don’t think Dr. King helped racial harmony, I think he helped racial justice. What I profess to do is help the oppressed and if I cause a load of discomfort in the white community and the black community, that in my opinion means I’m being effective, because I’m not trying to make them comfortable. The job of an activist is to make people tense and cause social change.
    Al, Reverend Sharpton (b. 1954)

As long as lightly all their livelong sessions,
Like a yardful of schoolboys out at recess
Before their plays and games were organized,
They yelling mix tag, hide-and-seek, hopscotch,
And leapfrog in each other’s way all’s well.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)
