A two week timetable synchronises shared lessons for the A-level subjects such as German. Single gender activities and facilitiers such as sport and the main school buildings are not shared. The two schools share a swimming pool that is used separtately by boys and girls. The sixth form building is shared, with facilities for girls on the top floor, and for the boys on the ground floor. A joint sports hall is used by both boys and girls with a separation barrier. The dining room has a dividing wall that can be folded away. A food technology room is situated between the Girl and Boys school.

In October 2006, the sports hall was officially opened, and includes two gyms and a dance/drama studio. The building also includes a lift for the disabled.
