Management
The Kimbell Art Museum derives around 65% of its $12m budget from its unrestricted endowment of more than $400 million. The endowment fell from $466m to $398m during the first years of the 2007–2012 global financial crisis. The museum has no special funds for acquisitions. Museum membership is at 15,000.
