Youth
Kim Mulkey was one of the first girls in the USA to play organized baseball with boys. After playing basketball at Nesom Junior High School in Tickfaw, Louisiana, she led her Hammond High School basketball team to four consecutive state championships. As high school valedictorian, she posted a perfect 4.0 GPA.
