Kim Carr

Kim John Carr (born 2 July 1955) is an Australian politician. He has been an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian Senate since April 1993, representing the state of Victoria. Carr is a leading figure in Labor's left faction. In March 2012, he was appointed Minister for Human Services in the outer ministry, having previously held a range of ministerial responsibilities since 2007, including serving in the Rudd Cabinet.
