Language
Their language, in the Khmuic language family, is also called Khmuic and belongs to the Austro-Asiatic group of languages.
Khmuic have only a small number of resemble words to those of Mon and Khmer(ancient Khmuic people called Khrom) because they are influenced by each other culture in the longest history. After Mon and Khmer had adopted Hinduism and Buddhism it upgraded them to more educated, more developed and more prosperous than Khmu. By general Khmuic people can not understand Monic and Khmerian, reversely Monic and Khmerian people can not understand Khmuic. So Khmuic should be separated from Mon-Khmer language family.

An infant crying in the night;
An infant crying for the light:
And with no language but a cry.”

“The hypothesis I wish to advance is that ... the language of morality is in ... grave disorder.... What we possess, if this is true, are the fragments of a conceptual scheme, parts of which now lack those contexts from which their significance derived. We possess indeed simulacra of morality, we continue to use many of the key expressions. But we havevery largely if not entirelylost our comprehension, both theoretical and practical, of morality.”
—Alasdair Chalmers MacIntyre (b. 1929)
