Khatib MRT Station
Khatib MRT Station (NS14) is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit station on the North South Line in Singapore. It is the southernmost of 2 stations serving Yishun New Town. The station is located at the junction of Yishun Ring Road and Yishun Avenue 2. The most distinctive feature of this station is a pair of tomato replicas located within the paid area of the Concourse Level beneath the escalators. The section of track between this station and Yio Chu Kang is the longest between any two SMRT stations in Singapore. The travel time from Khatib to Yio Chu Kang is about 5 minutes.
