Khanewal District (Urdu: ضِلع خانیوال), is a district of Punjab province of Pakistan. It's capital is Khanewal city. It most widely known for being the host city to the second largest railway station in the country. According to the 1998 census of Pakistan, the district had a population of 2,068,490 of which 17.42% were urban.
