Personal Life
Martin is married to Shauna Martin and has three children, Karrick, Kalycia and Mykaela. He is the owner and operator of Kevin's Rocks-n-Racquets, a curling supply shop. He has owned his own business since 1991. Prior to that, he was an ice maker. He also runs curling academies at the Saville Sports Centre. He has a resource management degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Martin is very invested in building the future of the game of curling. Each summer he organizes a curling camp for junior players called the "Kevin Martin Summer Curling Academy". The Academy is targeted at elite junior players looking to take their game to a higher level.
