Kettering Tower - History

History

The building opened for business in 1972. In 2005 a New York investment firm, Kettering Tower Partners LLC, bought the Kettering Tower for $21.9 million, or $45.63 per square foot. Before being named, Kettering Tower, it was then known as The Winters Bank Tower. The Kettering Tower is presently managed by a court-appointed receiver and is slated to be sold at Montgomery County Sheriff's Auction. The sheriff's appraisal came in at $16.2 million, and bidding will begin at 2/3 of the appraisal value.
