Ken Tizzard

Ken Tizzard (born 7 May 1969) is a Canadian rock bassist.

He was a member of The Watchmen, one of Canada's most successful alternative rock bands of the 1990s. Following that band's breakup in late 2003, he spent time with Thornley, who released their debut album in 2004. Despite the mainstream appeal of Thornley, he departed in late 2005 along with Sekou Lumumba (drummer) because of creative differences with Ian Thornley to pursue other personal musical endeavours. After departing from Thornley, Tizzard started a new musical career as a solo artist. His current album Quiet Storey House... an introduction includes music that falls into the categories of indie and alternative.

Famous quotes containing the word ken:

Is America a land of God where saints abide for ever? Where golden fields spread fair and broad, where flows the crystal river? Certainly not flush with saints, and a good thing, too, for the saints sent buzzing into man’s ken now are but poor- mouthed ecclesiastical film stars and cliché-shouting publicity agents.
Their little knowledge bringing them nearer to their ignorance,
Ignorance bringing them nearer to death,
But nearness to death no nearer to God.
    Sean O’Casey (1884–1964)
