The Keisei Main Line (京成本線, Keisei Honsen?) is a railway line of Japanese private railway company Keisei Electric Railway between Tokyo and Narita, Japan. It is the main line of Keisei's railway network. Built as an interurban between Tokyo and Narita in early 20th century, the line has served as a main access route to Narita International Airport since 1978. It also serves major cities along the line such as Funabashi, Narashino, and Sakura.
In 2010, the Narita Sky Access opened as a bypass of the line so that the role of the main line in the airport access has been reduced.

Famous quotes containing the words main and/or line:
“Whether or not his newspaper and a set of senses reduced to five are the main sources of the so-called real life of the so- called average man, one thing is fortunately certain: namely, that the average man himself is but a piece of fiction, a tissue of statistics.”
—Vladimir Nabokov (18991977)
“The line of separation was very distinct, and the Indian immediately remarked, I guess you and I go there,I guess theres room for my canoe there. This was his common expression instead of saying we. He never addressed us by our names, though curious to know how they were spelled and what they meant, while we called him Polis. He had already guessed very accurately at our ages, and said that he was forty-eight.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
