State Championships
Kearney High competes in the Class A division in the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA). The school has won 12 state team championships: cross-country championships in 1977, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2003, and 2011; the football championship in its class in 2006; girl's golf championships in 1992, 1994, 1996, and 1997; and the volleyball championship in 1978.
