Exterior Design

The most prominent difference between these trains, and trains of the older generation, such as the C151 trains before refurbishment, are in terms of its exterior design and colours. The front of the train sports a more slanted and streamlined look, with the run number display in Orange LED Display. The sides of the train, instead of having the conventional white background with a red stripe, consists of a shiny black area covering the middle portion of the train from just above the windows to below the windows, followed by a bold red stripe and a thinner grey stripe at the bottom of the train.

Famous quotes containing the words exterior and/or design:

Had I been less resolved to work, I would perhaps had made an effort to begin immediately. But since my resolution was formal and before twenty four hours, in the empty slots of the next day where everything fit so nicely because I was not yet there, it was better not to choose a night at which I was not well-disposed for a debut to which the following days proved, alas, no more propitious.... Unfortunately, the following day was not the exterior and vast day which I had feverishly awaited.
    Marcel Proust (1871–1922)

We find that Good and Evil happen alike to all Men on this Side of the Grave; and as the principle Design of Tragedy is to raise Commiseration and Terror in the Minds of the Audience, we shall defeat this great End, if we always make Virtue and Innocence happy and successful.
    Joseph Addison (1672–1719)
