Kastrioti Family
The Kastrioti, or Castriota (Albanian: Kastriotët) was an Albanian noble family that held the region around Shkoder (modern Albania) in the Middle Ages. The family hailed from the Shkoder region in Albania. The most notable member was Skanderbeg, regarded a national hero of Albania.
