Kasme Vaade (Devnagari: कस्मे वादे) is a 1978 Hindi film produced and directed by Ramesh Behl. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Raakhee, Neetu Singh, and Amjad Khan. Randhir Kapoor earned a Filmfare nomination as Best Supporting Actor, the only nomination for the film. Rekha makes a guest appearance as a dancer. The music is by R. D. Burman and the lyrics by Gulshan Bawra. The film became a "blockbuster" at the box office.
The film was later remade in Telugu titled "Chesina Basalu" in 1980 starring Shobhan Babu, Jayaprada and Madhavi and was also remade into Tamil as "Dharmathin Thalaivan" in 1988 starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Suhasini and Kushboo in the lead which went onto become a huge hit.
