Kapi'olani Medical Center at Pali Momi opened its doors in 1989 to serve the growing West Oahu community, providing care through its modern 116-bed facility. Over 100 physicians and specialists are located in the adjoining medical office building providing care for Leeward families.

As a part of the system, Pali Momi shares in the rich legacy of Queen Kapi'olani who founded the Maternity Home in 1890 to care for Hawaii's moms and babies. The beautifully designed Leeward facility represents the efforts of many and an extensive planning process that spanned several years.
