Kanto has been a great student of granny goodness, being a superb athlete, master swordsman, strategist and expert fighter. He considers his work his art. As one of the New Gods, he has an extremely long-lived and increased resistance to harm; on at least one occasion he survives a fall into Apokolips's fire pits.
