Kananaskis River

The Kananaskis River ( /ˌkænəˈnæskɨs/) is a mountain river in western Alberta, Canada. It is a tributary of the Bow River, crossing the length of Kananaskis Country.

The river was named by John Palliser in 1858 after a Cree.
