Kampala University - Location

Location

As of January 2012, Kampala University maintains the following campuses:

1. The main campus is located at Ggaba, a southeastern suburb of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city. The coordinates of the main campus are:00 15 38N, 32 38 02E.
2. KU's second campus is located in another Kampala suburb of Mutundwe, southwest of the central business district.
3. The university's third campus is located in the town of Masaka, 130 kilometres (81 mi) southwest of Kampala on the highway to Mbarara.
4. A campus in Luweero, Luweero District, approximately 75 kilometres (47 mi) north of Kampala on the Kampala-Gulu Highway, forms the institution's fourth campus.
5. The university's fifth campus is located in the Eastern Ugandan city of Jinja, approximately 80 kilometres (50 mi), by road, east of Kampala, on the Kampala-Jinja Highway.
