Death
Ven. Dr. Dhammananda died on August 31, 2006. At the funeral there were auspicious signs including lights and auras around the funeral site. The weather was overcast and there was rain and then some rainbows, although no rain was in the forecast.
At the funeral the Ven. Madawela Punnaji gave a eulogy. Due to his devotion and respect to Ven. Dhammananda and the Dhamma, he was asked to stay, which he did.
