K-Automotive Motorsports - Switching Manufacturers

Switching Manufacturers

Brian Keselowski and the #92 K-Automotive team skipped the Coca-Cola 600, but hope to run at at Kansas, Pocono, and Michigan in June. That is contingent on Keselowski getting a motor program in place, meaning that for the driver/owner, a change in manufacturer may be coming. "I'm working really hard to get a motor program together before we go to Kansas," Keselowski said. "Problem is, I can't seem to make that work on the Dodge side. There's probably not a single manufacturer out there willing to give me anything, but there might be some manufacturers out there willing to make some better deals, or some deals, because now I have none. I don't want to change by any means, I've been a Dodge guy since I was a kid. But they can't just keep burying me in the dirt either. I need some light. I'm trying to make my race team work. If that's the way to do it, I'll do it." Keselowski eventually parted ways with Dodge, switching manufacturers to Chevrolet in preparation for the Michigan race.
